Benefit Presentation: Mental Skills For Athletes

San Rafael, CA (PRWEB) May 26, 2008 -- At all levels of sport, mental
fitness often sets athletes apart from competitors. Overcoming nerves
and staying focused are only two of the many mental skills honed by
successful athletes. On Thursday, June 5, 2008, Marvin Zauderer, MFT
will speak in San Rafael, California on "The 5 Core Skills of
Mentally Fit Athletes," and will present steps that all athletes can
take to strengthen important mental skills. Whether you're a
competitive athlete, recreational athlete, coach, or parent of an
athlete, this presentation will give you tools that you can use. More
info: http://www.marvinz.com/

The talk, sponsored by Marin Cyclists, is a benefit for the NorCal
High School Mountain Bike League. Over 450 high school athletes
participate in the League, an independent, nonprofit organization
that does not receive funding from schools.

The event is free for Marin Cyclists and NorCal HS MTB League
members, and a $10 (or more, if you can) suggested donation for all
others. It will begin at 7:00 p.m., with Q&A beginning at 8:00 p.m.
It will be held at the San Rafael Corporate Center, Tamalpais Room,
at 750 Lindaro Street in San Rafael, California, just off Highway 101
