FYI - several potential sponsors are interested in next year. We'll be back
bigger than ever. We'll have several surprises next year as well.

The track was smokin' this past weekend. If you couldn't make it down, you
missed a grand event....next year's AVC can't come soon enough, so keep your
calendar open.

An event like the AVC requires a team of volunteers, and Hellyer has the
best. There never seems to be enough words of gratitude when you are touched
by so many displays of kindness.  And it is kind to offer your time, free of
charge, to a worthy and passionate cause.  We applaud those who did so much
for us this weekend.  

The list is too long to mention everyone personally - Rick's crack team of
officials; Neil and Ted's party planners; Robin's promo crew (which has to
include Jewel); the regulars, Peter Bohl and Glenn Kubacki -  so this note
of thanks will be limited to a few that were part of our own crew:  
The Enforcers: David Pulgia and Steve Stewart
The Gate Keepers: Susan Thaxton and Cathy Morgan
The Foot Sprinters: Molly Jacobs, Lauren Hecht, Donna Woods and Lisa Hearn
