[NCNCA] Meet the Teams Day is this coming Sunday

With last weeks threatening weather the decision was made to move the Meet the Teams Day to this Sunday, Feb. 3.  Please see all of the useful info on the www.NCNCA.org homepage (and substitute the dates).
 
Please also note that representatives from the Nor Cal High School Mountain Bike League will be there to answer your questions and accept your cycling gear donations.
 
On the racing side, 3 out of the past 4 Sundays have had threatening weather and a good amount of wind.  The 3 foul weather days have seen a lower than usual racer turnout BUT the races have been safer.  The wind helps to keep the riders honest!  The new and the experienced riders are looking good and getting used to cornering in tight quarters.  Although many will argue that racing in January and early February is unwise, I think it's the perfect time of year to work on the skills we need to race safely in the coming months.  So, thanks to all of you that are making the efforts to improve and get comfortable.
 
Lastly, thanks go out to our all-volunteer mentors!
