Congratulations to all the Early Bird racers yesterday... no crashes!
Next week- January 27th
Firstly "Heavy Rain Cancels" is Bob's Early Bird mantra... so, of course, the show went on when the rain fell in the 4's race yesterday! Secondly, is that Sunday, January 27th is Meet the Teams Day. Many teams have already committed to getting out there to the Early Bird course in Fremont. Come out and check their pup tents, guitars, tables, picnic baskets, boom boxes, and food. Oh, and there will probably be more sales type people than you can shake a stick at! Thirdly, and more importantly, is that the Nor Cal High School Mountain Bike League will be represented. As velodrome president John Simmons says below, its a worthy cause!See you on Sunday, Larry Nolan, co-lead in the Early Birds> DONATE UNUSED GEAR AT EARLY BIRD RACE> Donate your old usable clothing & gear to the NorCal> High School Mountain Bike Racing League at the Sunday,> January 27, Early Bird Criterium!! Donations will be> accepted at an expo tent from 10:00-2:00 (just look> for the NorCal banner).> > If you're like me and you have a lot of old usable> clothes & gear; now here's a chance to put it to good> use.
