[NCNCA] Women's Races

I feel for Ron and Barry and also understand where Soni is coming from.

However, as a past and probably future race organizer, the not knowing how
many will turn up, and thus whether the income will be there to cover race
expenses is a very big worry.

Maybe all races should be pre-register only?

Garry

I agree that if women are going to complain about lack of fields, they need
to show up when they get what they were asking for.

However, women are not big on pre-registering. They rarely need to because
fields don't fill. And life, for me, makes it hard to plan more than 2 days
in advance. So I often choose not to pre-register unless I know for sure I
will be able to attend.

So maybe we all need to be spanked for complaining about small fields and
then not showing up, but you really should wait until after the races are
over to get nasty about it.
