I agree with Soni. I know plenty of men who only pre-register because their
fields will sell out, and who regularly have life interfere and then lose
their non-refundable entry fee. If they didn't have to pre-reg they
wouldn't, and I can't imagine that you'd have only ten women (either for the
entire EBC crit or for the Cat's Hill W1/2/3).
Has anybody noticed there are local women's teams taking on some "big" teams
at Gila? How cool is that? Unfortunately it's going to conflict with Cat's
Hill for a few people, but man, what does that say about the women's racing
in our area?
