[NCNCA] Nor Cal Elite Team - Call For Resumes

 Sterling Sports Group is pleased to announce the formation of a regional Elite Cycling Team for 2008.  As part of the development process we are soliciting resumes from Northern California riders ready to take a step forward. We have 6-8 roster spots available and will be contesting a comprehensive regional schedule with several National and NRC Events on tap such as Cascade, Tour De Nez, The USA Crits series, Elkhorn Classic SR and others (final event schedule will be determined once we have the team finalized). Our program provides equipment, travel, and coaching support to talented riders looking to shine on a regional and national level. If you are Category 1, or very talented Category 2 (as evidenced by substantial upgrade points towards your Cat 1) then drop us a line with your resume and 2008 goals. Preference is given to qualified  riders in the U23 & U26 age groups, and to qualified Masters level riders ready to help mentor the next generation. From this initial group up to 15 riders will be invited to attend a training camp the weekend of October 27-28. During camp we will be conducting baseline testing, interviews, and lots of riding! From this we will select the final roster of riders and begin our preparation for 2008. Interested Athletes should send a complete resume and cover letter via e-mail to raceteam2008 at hotmail.com .
