The 2008 Amgen Tour of California and the City of Palo Alto announce the
race route for the prologue

It is that time of year again... the days are getting shorter and colder,
holiday lights are being mounted, in some parts of the country snow is
falling, temperatures are freezing, children are sledding, hobby racers are
strength-training with pints of beer, and in Palo Alto, California, the
preparations for the 2008 Amgen Tour of California kick off!!

This Tuesday, the 2008 Amgen Tour of California will announce the race route
details for the first stage, the prologue, which will start in downtown Palo
Alto, and end on the campus of Stanford University. The event also features
information about green initiatives of the city of Palo Alto, bicycle school
programs, and the potential Bicycle Street Art Project.

Join in at 10am on Tuesday, November 13, 2007, Palo Alto City Hall, King
Plaza, 250 Hamilton Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94301 (Public parking is available
for bikes and cars. City Hall is 3 blocks from Caltrain station.) RSVP to
