Not to worry, there is plenty of action to be had in Pleasanton on June 3rd.
New pavement, completely closed course, and an amazing prize list.
(not that people race for prizes, but it sure is nice).

  Dan,

IT should be noted that these events weren't canceled without a HUGE
fight from the promoter and us local racers with the City of Santa Rosa
and the local business parks where they were being held. The local
business were opposed to what we have been doing here ( twilight crits)
over the past 18 years and were trying like mad to shut us down. The
threats/preasure got to be too much, as lawsuits were being
threatened. The promoter did everything she could to make this work
but in the end the businesses and city won out. Thus canceling one of
the best local racing scenes in Northern Cal. The City of Santa Rosa (
and the businesses) have failed us tremendously, not the promoter.
Just wanted to clarify this a bit more. This is a huge loss to us from
the north bay.
