[NCNCA] BOD Meeting notes and upcoming election

      Attached are the unofficial notes from the last NCVA BOD meeting on 7/19. Remember, these are unofficial until approved by the Board at the next meeting.
     Also attached is the election process for the upcoming election for the 2007 - 2008 NCVA Board of Directors.
     In a nutshell, in order to vote in the election, you need to be a member of the NCVA. This is different than just signing a release. It costs a measly $5 to join, and a separate document needs to be filled out. The membership needs to be completed by September 1 if you want to vote.

Send your completed form with $5 to the election coordinator, Glenn Kubacki at 
22056 San Fernando Ct. Cupertino  CA  95014.
     On August 15, Glenn will e-mail the NCVA  group list to remind everyone to check the Hellyer website,  http://www.ridethetrack.com  for the list of current NCVA members which will be posted by 8/15. 
     If you wish to run for the Board, you must be a NCVA member and notify Aldene Gordon, the NCVA webmaster, at ncvavoting at yahoo.com by September 1, 2007. More details are on the attached election document.

     Also, if you'll notice in the notes, Mike would like to create a thank you banner for all of the County employees involved in the track upgrade and construction. He'd like someone in the Hellyer commnunity to help design the banner, so if you're feeling creative, e-mail Mike at bike.mike at charter.net
