  I am pleased to announce the 2007 Category 4 Women's Mentoring program for the eighth consecutive year.  Please contact me if you have any questions regarding the program.
   
  THE WINNER WITHIN -  WomenÂ’s Category 4 Mentor Program 
  Started in 1999 by long-time coach Ted Fisher, the Winner Within program has been very successful and received lots of positive feedback.  Our mentors feature experienced women racers that have ridden prominently in the district, national and international arena for the past several years.  
  The purpose of the WomenÂ’s Cat 4 Mentor Program is to encourage women to race.  Mentors will focus on safe riding, pack skills, racing techniques, gear usage, bike fit, etc. in order to support novice racers.  Mentors will not impact the outcome of the race, and will be available afterward to answer questions, discuss race techniques and offer suggestions to improve.  Additionally they will wear orange safety vests for easy identification.  
   
  Mentors include a star-studded group of women racers that have many years of experience, including elite.  Most of our mentors have ridden on pro squads as well as being World, State and National champions.
