[NCNCA] 2007 Junior Point Series

The 2007 Schedule was posted on the NCNCA website at:   http://www.ncnca.org/juniors/  a few weeks ago.


For the eighth year, the NCNCA is once again the series' sponsor for a series of eight road/criterium races for juniors. There are some changes in the race schedule from 2006 and the point system has been changed to accommodate the large increase in the number of racers in the 15-16 and 17-18 age groups. We have added a "Best NEW Rider" award category to encourage and recognize the achievements of new riders to the sport. Junior cycling is experiencing explosive growth in Northern California & Nevada and our local juniors have greatly benefited from the racing experience gained in the jr. point series races. 


We have created several sponsorship opportunities to augment the NCNCA's support. All sponsors will be recognized in the Junior Point Series signage that will be displayed at each race. Also, each category sponsor will be afforded the opportunity to present the series' award for the category they sponsor at the series' finale - the SJBC Memorial Day Criterium. Both financial and product sponsors are welcome.
