[NCNCA] Tuesday Night sprint and interval training - Fremont

yes it is... we did 30 sprints last night! 15 into a good headwind, 15 with the tailwind. Some did less but most did all of them.
While 30 seems like a silly number of high level efforts we often enter events like Cat's Hill where one huge effort is made every lap usually followed by a recovery on the descent and another effort along the start/ finish line before another trip up the hill. I believe a workout like last night helps riders prepare for an event like Cat's Hill. Not completely, but somewhat.
Overall, I'm just trying to mix up the workouts. We'll continue these every Tuesday through August. I hope to hold the Thursday Night Points Races in August and September. Details of the planned sprint/ interval workout for the upcoming Tuesday are posted by Friday on www.amdmasters.com under the blog section, in the comments field.
