Why does a race need to be an NRC race to be successful?
Given the time of year and location, McClain Pacific will continue to fill
all categories regardless of NRC status. It is a great race at the right
time of year.

I saw that in the USAC thing on applying to be NRC, I was wondering
about that - promoter pays for doping controls. Sad state of affairs
when dopers help kill off a central valley race.

The race seemed to run just fine last year, but I'm sure the new NRC
rules and fatter purses are going to have a dramatic effect on growing
the sport. Yeah right!

Hey wait, if NRC purses were forced to be SMALLER wouldn't that REDUCE
the incentive to dope?

I like "pro cycling" less and less every week...
