Race day registration is available. Registration opens at 8:00a.m. and closes one hour before each category's race start time.

Just a couple of quick updates..I promise, these will be the last ones. Unless I think of other ones.

1. There is a first lap preme for the Women's A race of $100 and a Vanderkitten Prize pack. More info on that silliness here: http://surfcitycxnews.blogspot.com/
2. We've got cases of the ever popular Cal Giant berries for category winners
3. Don't forget Tiki Cross (as if anyone could) How often do you get to go under the barriers instead of over?
4. The Bicycle Trip juniors will be out in force. Cheer those crazy kids on!
5. Save your numbers!! They will be used for the entire series (as I type this I have no idea where my Pilarcitos # is....)
6. If you find the time, watch and cheer the kids race at 12:30. Especially if you have had a crappy race, as this is guaranteed to cheer you up. (kid's race is free for all kids 12 and under. You can register online or at race site - kids race on their own kiddie course and all participants get a prize bag)

7. $2 of every paid entry to Sunday's race will go towards the Janel Lodge Medical Fund. Join us in helping one of our own to get back out there and racing again.

The course at Soquel is awesome if I don't say so myself. Expect fast, flowy and swoopy-doopy, with some energy sucking grass sections thrown in to balance it all out. We are doing a sort of backwards loop of loop's past and heading into a few new sections in the back. Good stuff.

Thanks everyone for reading the ramblings. See you all there.
