[NCNCA] Juniors Category Change

Just a quick 2p,

We've had rotating fields at the Ronde van Brisbeen
for the past few years, out of necessity, not because
of any sort of desire to minimise a particular racer/
fields opportunities. One year we had no woman's
fields, this year we did but then we only a cat 2 w/
no 1/ pro field. We also have had no cat 5 fields.

My point is that although the jr's affected may not be
particularily happy about having their field(s)
eliminated, understand that it may not be the case
next year. I didn't get to do Berkeley Hills one year
because I wasn't of master's age, and they didn't have
an elite field, or something like that (I don't
remember the sprecifics, and it's really not
important).

These things happen, and although you (we, whatever)
may want to scream about these "injustices", have
patience and let let things run their respective
courses.

Not to minimise the feelings of these jr's, but they
are REALLY young, and have MANY years of racing in
front of them. So you don't get to do the Giro this
year, ok bummer. But hey, look forward to next year,
you never know, maybe those jr fields will be back.
(Disclaimer: I am not connected to the race beyond as
a participant, so I'm not presuming to speak for
them.)

It's just one race, in an area that has a 9 month long
season, so let's not be too harsh on the promotors for
having to make a tough decision.

That's enough out of me,

Life's too good to be short......
