I also like the part where quite a few racers needed to check out the crash, rather than paying attention to where they were going...

an important reminder for all... if there is a crash - STAY CALM, RELAX, AND DON'T LOOK AT IT !!!  
  - If you are ahead of it or next to it, keep your eyes forward and look where you are going !!!
  - If you are behind it.... Look for a SMOOTH way around/through it, not AT it..   look for the holes... slow and pick your way through, or if you can go around, (without swerving and taking out the guy next to you) then do that...   one thing is for sure though... you go where you are looking, do not look at the people piled up.. look for the holes...

I hope everyone escaped without any real serious injuries ?  The kid from team swift (who I think belonged to the flying bike, and went straight over the bars) didn't look so good that day on the lawn.. or in the pictures...   anyway.. I hope everyone was basically OK...   that was an ugly one.
