We really do need registration to results software, and I have been
putting together an RFP for exactly that. Trouble is, it will be
complicated and expensive to write. We will need a sponsor, and will
need to lease the software to other associations to recoup the costs.
Are you interested in helping with the RFP Dan? Tom Simonson has
already outlined many of the features it will need.

We ask promoters to use standard formats but it's like herding sheep.
Everyone has preferences based on the software tools they already know
and most don't have the time to care what format the NCNCA or even the
USCF prefers. You would be shocked at how much time Casey and I spend
reformatting results.
