The latest word on restoring the lights...

PG&E owns the power supply lines that bring power into the park.
Like the velodrome itself, the distribution wiring inside the velodrome 
complex and to the restrooms is owned by the county.  In order to effectuate 
the repair, the county electrician has to coordinate his repair with that 
done by PG&E.  PG&E does not rate this repair as an emergency so it is 
somewhere on a back burner.
(At one point, the repair was scheduled for a last week.)

At this point, since no lights are likely before the end of our racing 
season, organizers and suervisors should consider that all of our remaining 
schedule will have to be run in daylight.
