US Big Mouths Heading for Carrera
 
A tremendous Tag Team of Talkers is heading for San Rafael for the 2006 Carrera de San Rafael – Dave Towle and Larry Longo will be on stage and on the far reaching PA system in the 4th St. downtown race course as the event is resurrected by the Grupo de Carrera, local enthusiasts headed by Wil Smith, honcho of the previous San Rafael races. 
Towle will be coming directly from the US Pro cycling Championships in South Carolina while Longo will be completing his 2006 tour of duty with NORBA’s National Mountain Bike Series. 
 
Saturday, September 9th will be a great opportunity for fans and competitors with their families to return to San Rafael’s 4th St. corridor for the final events of the 2006 Northern California Premier Series. Titles will be awarded in Men’s Pro ½, Women’s Pro ½ and Master 35+ 1/2/3 categories. The Women’s Cat. ¾ event also serves as the final event in the Northern California Women’s Road Race series. Racing starts at 8:30 am with Towle and Longo calling the action for Masters 35+ 4/5 race and the rest of the entire day's schedule.
